Program Manager

Location: Columbus, OH
Salary Range: $12 – 15/hour
Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt

We are seeking an experienced and energized individual on a FULL TIME BASIC to help support our Supported Living Program. The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the assigned area in the community including ensuring the health, safe, desirable living environments, and providing choice for the consumers in accordance with compliance, regulatory and legal requirements, and exceeding the expectations of these requirements. In addition, the Program Manager will have a primary schedule but flexibility is required to work various day, evening, and weekend shifts every week at a prescribe minimum hours.


  • Responsible for the overall day to day operations of designated sites.
  • Coordinates with interdisciplinary team and governing bodies to ensure individual program supports and services provided and implemented properly.
  • Responsible for review and completion of program documentation.
  • Ensures individuals and staff are current in all required trainings.
  • Ensures the overall safety and aesthetic appearance of the home is maintained.
  • Maintains budgeting guidelines and completes financial audits as needed.
  • Manages staff schedules and approves all schedule changes
  • Works open hours when shift is unable to be filled by direct care staff.
  • Screens, conduct interviews, hires, and ensure onsite training to Direct Care staff.
  • Trains and ensures job competencies, performances, and completion of annual required trainings.
  • Observes, coaches and evaluates staff in day to day interactions with individuals and coworkers and objectively completes and reviews employee evaluations for staff in a timely manner.
  • Ensures and implements all corrective actions including coaching and termination.
  • Designated trainer in Fire Safety and Emergency Response Procedures, T.A.P.S and CPR/First Aid.
  • Communicates with appropriate parties regarding Individual’s progress, needs, health concerns and all emergencies.


  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Services, or a related field MS or MBA preferred with equivalent experience as substituted.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience, preferably in the human services field
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide leadership along with planning the work of others.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities while achieving the outcomes of the area of responsibility.
  • You must have a vehicle while on duty
  • Valid Ohio Drivers License
  • Driving record – with no more than 6 points on your driving record
  • Proof of automobile insurance
  • Criminal background checks (BCII & FBI)
  • Proof of Training in First Aid & CPR
