Salary Range: $10 – $12/hour

Description:

We are seeking an individual to support management in elevating the life of people with Developmental Disabilities or Disable with their daily life activities. Job duties include performing routine clerical and reception duties for the Executive team. This position has a variety of responsibilities that include secretarial duties and interaction with consumers, parents, guardians, associates, and vendors, visitors. The position requires an individual who is organized and has good telecommunications skills. Full time and work from 9:30 am to 4:30pm daily Monday through Friday.

Duties:

  • Perform administrative duties such as email/faxing, scorecard creation and creating and submitting reports to management, Reception, etc
  • Provides support for all of the President and Chief Executive Officer daily functions from scheduling meetings, maintaining the calendar and recording meeting minutes to travel arrangements, submitting expense reports, etc
  • Provides administrative support and assistance to office associates, consumers, vendors, and visitors.
  • Compiles and analyzes basic information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials, prepares charts, graphs, or tables as necessary
  • Receives and responds to routine correspondence following established procedures not requiring management review
  • Receives and responds to routine correspondence following established procedures not requiring management review
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining Organizational Charts
  • Responsible for department supplies inventory including ordering materials as needed
  • Responsible to receives and directs visitors
  • Answers and transfers incoming telephone calls

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent or College coursework in related field desirable or Associates Degree in Business or Office Management or related field preferred
  • One to Two years of clerical or administrative experience
  • Candidates with prior experience working with underserved or homeless populations, or training, or from a home health care agency preferable
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word
  • Requires organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Requires ability to communicate via documentation, telephone, computer and directly, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Thorough knowledge of office operations
  • Ability to interact with all levels of associates and customers in a professional and courteous manner

Additionally, once an offer of employment is made, the following MUST be GIVEN:

  • Criminal background checks (BCII & FBI – depending on residence in Ohio or other states)
  • Complete a pre-employment Physical Examination with Tb-tine test including Drug screening
  • Proof of work authorization documentations (Social Security, Permanent Resident Card) indicating your ability to work legally in the United States.
  • State of Ohio Abuser Registry and Nurse Registry check if needed.
